  Absolutely loved this hotel. beautiful. clean and perfect location. rooms were huge and well kept. all hotel personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in lisbon!

  Excellent hotel with charming features and freindly staff. breakfast good quality but not extensive (hot and cold buffet with optional extras). rear rooms quieter but views not as good as front. 10 walk to centre slight downhill. near metro and buses. lovely, safe area.

  What a lovely hotel. the staff was exemplary - a very high level of service combined with genuine warmth. architecturally, this hotel is a gem with a fascinating history. the britania is true original art deco, impeccably restored several years ago with rigid adherence to its historic status. the rooms are spacious, modern function incorporated into the deco design. we didnt want to leave.

  Excellent hotel!! i stayed at the cozy room which is well decorated. staffs are very frieddly and helpfull. the hotel is very near the metro station and bus stop to the airport, so the location is perfect. i strongly recommend this hotel to everyone and hope to come back soon!

  Lack of hot water one morning and 3 power cuts during our stay were annoying. service and food in the bar weren't great. there was no light at one side of the bed and the room was a bit dim overall. reception staff were very helpful.

  Extremely friendly, helpful and quatri-lingual staff -- raquel, pedro, julio. very comfortable ample sized and in winter warm room. close to metro, bus, train station, squares, eateries, mini market, and hardware store. excellent value.

  La gentillesse du service en général et en particulier à la réception est exceptionnel. une note excellente aussi aussi pour la propreté doit être souligné. a souligner aussi qu'il ne faut pas oublier de reagarder le choix des coussins à disposition, celui sur le lit n'est pas forcément celui qui convient, mais dans l'armoire 2 autres types sont à disposition. excellent peitit déjeûner dans une ambiance très agréable. hôtel pas bon marché, mais la relation qualité prix est très correcte.

  This is one of our favorite hotels--the people are very warm and personable, it's beautiful and in a great location. it's not a big luxury resort, but it is a jewel and really represents the gold standard in service quality.

  A fabulous hotel and would definitely return. if i had to make one small comment it would be that that the towels were changed after our evening shower.

  One of the nicest hotels i have ever stayed in. the warmest welcome on check-in, friendly and attentive staff, a huge bedroom, and a very efficient and refined breakfast room. would definatley return and recommend this hotel to others.

  There was no wi-fi on the second floor which made life difficult at times! maybe the piano music in the reception could be alternated with something else or switched off, it drove me slightly mad by the end of my stay. on the whole a very pleasant place to stay, relaxed, intimate and luxurious with a rare sense of old world charm and grace, it reminded me a little of the hotel that ricardo reis stays in in sarramago's novel about him

  Our booking was handled inappropriately by reception. my son and his partner who arrived 20 minutes ahead of us were also surprised by the attitude at reception to our booking. pedro vasconcelos(who was not present when we arrived) talked to us the next day and apologised for the error and we accepted his explanation and apology.
