  L'entrée dans l'hôtel se fait dans un impasse privée, et cette dernière est complétement encombrée par des voitures stationnées. on traverse donc un parking, on zigague parmi les voitures pour rentrer dans l'hôtel...

  Piña colada in der hotelbar war ungeniessbar. teeauswahl ungenügend. sonst alles bestens, v.a. die zentrale lage war sehr angenehm.

  Excellente situation en plein centre près des metro , tram , bus . personnel très charmant et très polyglotte . bon lit et bon pdj .

  Schönes,altes hotel ausgezeichnet gelegen. es fehlen im zimmer und bad gewisse sachen (z.b. cleenex-tücher) aber auch eine restauration mit mittag-und nachtessen für ein 5 sterne hotel. aber gesamthaft sind wir von unserem aufenthalt sehr zufrieden.

  Impresionante hotel. posiblemente de los mejores que he visto. lo único que se podría criticar es la antigüedad de las habitaciones, le vendría bien una reforma, pero no está tampoco demasiado viejo.

  The best location for sighteeing in lisbon. the hotel was lovely, the rooms were quite old fashioned but had a certain charm. the bed was really comfy, the bathroom didn't look much but the shower was brilliant and the towels gorgeous and fluffy. there were lots of toiletries, and we had a great view of the street. the staff were lovely and helpful and the breakfast was superb. the only negatives were that the air conditioning wasn't brilliant. while we were there the nights were cool - but i'm not sure how good it would be in the middle of summer. the other negative was the hairdryer- it was a complete waste of time - one of those silly hose types fixed to the wall, with no power whatsoever and took forever to dry my hair. if i was going back to lisbon i would stay here again as it was a lovely hotel in the best location - but i'd take my own hairdryer!

  The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpfull. the room needs a refurb:the a/c was noisy, no extract that worked in the bathroom and the shower was useless

  In the morning from 6.15 untill we left, we had (probably) a child running and jumping in the room above. we phoned the concierge but he said he could do nothing. even the chandelier was shaking.

  My only disappointments were: 1. being woken up early by the noise of the toilet flushing and water tank filling in another room (maybe the room above ours). it was so loud my girlfriend was frightened! 2. it is time that hotels offer guests free wireless or ethernet internet connections in their rooms. we all know this would cost the hotel no money. we are sick of being ripped off in this way. any hotel which offered this as a free service would be vastly ahead of their competitors. soon it will be cheaper to just buy a mobile modem for our laptops than to pay the inflated internet costs so get in early and remove the rip-off element from your service. it doesn't do you any favours as the rest of the stay was so enjoyable. best regards, jamie
