  Old school establishment, small enough to treat you as a person. staff very helpful in terms of local knowledge. very close to a range of "local" restaurants.

  Le premier soir j'ai pris le repas du soir à l'hotel , j'ai trouvé un peu cher pour risotto, 1 glace 1 verre de vin et une bouteille d'eau le tout 30 euros, aussi le reste de mes repas s'est fait à l'exterieur. l'hotel fait un peu vieillot

  Es sind keine 10 min zur fuss zum rossio, sondern gute 25-30. rezeptionistin fast die ganze zeit am telefonieren. nur ein junge concierge die professionel, schnell agiert hat. das restaurant eine ganze katastrophe am morgen. es sind so venig plätze, dass wir jeden morgen erst in die schlange warten mussten um einen platz zu bekommen. niemand unterhielt sich mit dem gast, der kafe grotesk schlecht! das buffet dagegen ausreichend, vielfältig. abendessen im den restaurant aviz ist eine zumutung bei der ständig laufender klimaanlage die so laut war, dass wir uns nicht unterhalten konnten. ich bestelte ein meeresfrüchten risotto die keins war. der kellner gibte mir von einem tablet zwei löeffel von der reiss und verschwand füer den ganzen abend, mich hungernd lassend... nicht lustig. fuer uns war je ein mittelmässiges hotel die wir nie wieder betretten werden. dankeschön, es passt einfach nicht mit der vergangenheit zu werben und die realität so zu vernachlässigen.

  This was a most pleasant place to stay in a city center setting, but receptive to a vacation traveller! the aviz will be our hotel of choice when returning to lisbon.

  Nous avons eu dans un premier temps une chambre avec vue sur un mur ; il ne s'agissait pourant pas d'une réservation de dernière minute, mais au contraire d'une réservation ancienne pour un anniversaire ! après réclamation elle a été changée, mais pour une chambre à 2 lits et non à un lit comme demandé. par ailleurs, aucune information fournie sur les services de l'hôtel sinon, chambre très propre et plaisante, et hotel bien situé pour découvrir la magnifique ville de lisbonne

  Ho soggiornato dal 17/04 al 19/04/09. la camera era assolutamente più bella di quanto mi aspettassi e la pulizia era eccellente. molto cordiali gli addetti alla reception e la colazione, compresa nel prezzo, era assolutamente gradevole e completa. si trova a pochi metri dalla stazione del metrò e comunque a piedi dista solo 10' dalla stazione del rossio. se mai dovessi tornare a lisbona soggiornerei di nuovo in questo hotel. lo consiglio vivamente!!

  Hotel was great for those seeking smaller, non-chain options. very close to marques pombal metro. helpful, friendly service, plus they spoke english. lovely room with modern bath, but not much storage for long stays. included breakfast was a wonderful offer, but their dinner prices were too high for our budget. i highly recommend it and would definitely return!

  La camera era piccola ma impeccabile, la vista era sul muro a pochi metri visto che la finestra dava su un cavedio piuttosto piccolo. quella prenotata da mio fratello aveva la vista un po' piu' ampia ma dava su uno squallido cortile. per una notte e' stato accettabile per piu' notti no. la colazione ha fatto perdonare il tutto.

  Serviette pas assez blanches pour un hotel 4 étoiles. petit déjeuner pas assez de choix, variétés et une impression d'avoir été surveiller par le personnel de l'hotel lors du petit déjeuner.

  Très bel hotel, très propre. un large choix au petit déjeuner. en revanche, l'accueil pourrait être amélioré. staff peut souriant. on nous a fait atttendre un matin dans le couloir sans excuses car il n'y avait pas de place pour prendre le petit déj. on pourrait s'attendre à un meilleur service dans ce genre de situation!!

  Ca ne serait pas un luxe de penser à mieux isoler les chambres. la climatisation fait énormément de bruit. impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres sans être importuné par le bruit de la climatisation.

  Reservamos una hab.doble y otra triple: la triple superó nuestras expectativas (suite con 3 estancias: perfecta). la doble sin embargo daba a un patio interior y era excesivamente pequeña.

  Hotel was very nice and room size and cleanliness was very good. however there must be a problem with either the drains or the aircon as there was a very stale smell when entering the room. problem seemed to be particularly evident on first floor, where our room was. we had to open the windows and room door to allow the draft to waft away the odour. we did not make a big deal of it as we did not spend to much time in the room.

  Nous avons rencontré quelques problèmes avec la clilmatisation - trop froid dans la chambre. nous avons également regretté l'absence totale de dégagement depuis la fenêtre (mur). en revanche, l'équipement de la salle de bain était excellent ainsi que la qualité de la literie.

  Excellent hôtel, bien placé, chambres tres confortables, petit déjeuner copieux, personnel attentif, s'il faut revenir à lisbonne, pas de doute, je reste a cet hôtel!
